In this event you will start with a run followed by numerous obstacles, finishing with a run. There will be 2 obstacle courses – one for 5 to 8 year olds and another for those aged from 9 to 12 years.
This event will be achievable for all levels of fitness.
Everyone starts with a 1km run - then all ages
Walk the Plank (walk on board)
Caterpillar Crawl (crawl under tarpaulin)
Sack Hop
Commando Crawl - (crawl through tunnels)
Flip or Tumble - (choice of cartwheels, forward or pencil rolls)
Pole Twister - (weave around poles)
Jumping Jacks - (hurdles for ages 9 to 12)
Tyre Dash - (run through tyres)
Everyone finishes with a short run

Where: Start/Finish at Flagstaff Park Commodore Ave Hamilton. Start time 11.15am for instructions and a practice on obstacles with the actual race starting immediately after.
Distance: 2kms (including obstacles)
Course: Endeavour Avenue and Flagstaff Park
Eligibility: All school age children are encouraged to participate. The maximum age is 18.
Entry: $15.00 if entry received by 25th September 2016. After this date a $5.00 late fee will be added. Online entries available until midnight Thursday 29 September 2016. Late entry fee applies. Entries will be taken on the day UP TO 10.00am (late fee will apply). You can enter online or by postal entry.

Race Confirmation: After we receive your completed entry form, we will forward you a confirmation of your entry.
Online entries will receive an e-confirmation. Confirmation for manual entries will be posted out with race instructions a week before event date. You must bring your confirmation with you to race registration to pick up your race pack.
Race Pack Collection: Available for collection from Flagstaff Club Saturday 1st October 12 noon to 3pm, Sunday 2nd October from 7am. Your race pack will include a race number which must be worn on race day. Please attach your race number to the front of your singlet..
Rewards: All finishers will receive a medal.

Parking: Parking is available in the field adjacent to Flagstaff Shops - enter off Endeavour Ave and follow the instructions from parking marshalls. Parking is also available in streets surrounding Flagstaff Park. Refer to map on website. We also ask that consideration be given to local residents when parking.
