The Hamilton Half Marathon event is on again thanks to naming rights funding from NZ Community Trust and major sponsors Earthcare Environmental, New Balance, Classic Hits, Brian Perry Civil, Downer, Fairview Motors and Dole

The Hamilton Half Marathon will operate from its headquarters at Flagstaff Park, Commodore Ave, Flagstaff. The headquarters offers convenient parking, is ideal for athlete registration and the start/finish line is right on hand.
Slips on the river path prevent us from using Course A, the river course. Course B, will be used again this year. (Course B is illustrated on website). Improvements have been made to the 5km course to ensure the enjoyment of entrants.
Pace runners will be on hand to help half marathon runners reach their goal times.
Earthcare Environmental is continuing as naming rights sponsor for this year’s Kids Marathon. Earthcare Environmental are keen supporters of the great outdoors and we’re delighted to have them running alongside us and the children.
Last year’s Kids Marathon was a great success, with a huge number of children getting up, active and taking part. This unique event offers kids from 5-18 years a chance to complete a marathon, one kilometre at a time in the lead up to the 2012 Hamilton Half Marathon. They finish with a final 2.195km run within Flagstaff Park, along the actual half marathon course.
This year organisers are aiming to attract 500 youngsters to the event with the assistance of Kelly Sports.
